Dismal: An Italian Blend Of Goth, Metal And Opera Worth Checking Out
My friends and I are heavily into Gothic and Experimental music and we enjoy having the opportunity to check out great bands, get together, meet and mingle. If there is something we have in common, it's Dismal, a great Italian band that churns out hit after hit.nFrom the sweet overtones of “Melisse” to the incredible lyrics of “La Conversione Di Shani” and the breath taking mood behind “Polvere d'Ireos”, this band really makes your head, heart and soul trip on a totally different level.
Their concerts and presentations are a true work of art, between their haunting music, deep lyrics, incredible staging, their Goth attire and the lighting; it's almost like a Gothic Opera of sorts! Their presentations are also a great opportunity to meet and mingle with followers of the band and of Goth and Experimental music in general.
You can meet lots of great people from different countries that actually travel to Italy just to have the chance to watch the band live! If you haven't heard of them yet, I recommend you listen to their recordings and get rocked by the surreal tapestry of their male and female vocals!
